Half-way there - The bottom of this cherry salad bowl is finished with one coat of oil.  It will be reversed and the inside will be completed.

My latest acquisition...A 25" Woodtek Dual Drum Sander.  An amazing tool!!!!

The wood pile.  Some will be burned in the wood stove.  The good stuff is cut, rough turned, left to dry for a few months and turned again into the final product.

 

   

Lidded boxes, rough-turned bowls and other turning blanks are stored so the wood can dry out:  When the moisture content is around 10%, they will be turned to final shape and a finish will be applied.
